This is an Eames Compact Sofa, Model S-473, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1954. This particular example dates to 2006 and has been freshly reupholstered in a deep yellow fabric. It has a chromed-steel frame, polyurethane foam cushions, and fabric-reinforced rubber webbing.
This sofa measures 30 inches deep, 72.5 inches wide, and 35 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches. There are some light scuffs on the legs, and the new upholstery looks pristine. Overall, this sofa is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
