1964 Action Office Desk by George Nelson for Herman Miller For Cheap

This is an original Action Office desk, designed by George Nelson and Robert Propst for Herman Miller in 1964. Action Office was designed as a set of components that could be combined and become whatever an office needed to be over time. This piece has a polished aluminum base and an off-white laminate top. Wood trim adorns the sides. This example is an early 1st generation, produced circa 1964.

This desk is 49.75 inches wide, 16.5 inches deep and 29.75 inches in height. It is in very good vintage condition, but remains over 50 years old and will show small signs of wear and use. See photos to assess condition.
