This is an original Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen ‘Egg’ lounge chair, Model 3316. Jacobsen designed the chair in 1958, perfecting the shape by experimenting with wire and plaster in his garage. This special piece has been freshly reupholstered in black full grain Italian leather. The chair swivels and has a tilt function, and rests on a 4-star aluminum base.
This piece has a height of 41 inches, a width of 33.9 inches, and a depth of 31.1 inches. It has a seat height of 14.6 inches and an arm height of 22.8 inches. The upholstery is fresh and is in excellent condition. The base has been cleaned, but may still show some signs of age. Please see photos.
