This is an Eames Molded Plywood Lounge Chair with a Metal Base, or an LCM Chair, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1946. This particular piece was produced by Herman Miller in the USA in 1952. It features a molded five-ply bent wood seat and back with a walnut veneer, and has chromed-steel tubular legs. It retains its original rubber shock mounts to prevent jarring movements.

This chair measures 24.25 inches deep, 22.25 inches wide, and 26.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 15.5 inches. The front panel has some veneer chips on it, and there is a mark on the seat panel. There is slight pitting and patina on the metal frame. We have intentionally left this piece in untouched condition. Overall, this chair is in good condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
