This is a pair of Upholstered Club Chairs from The Lounge Seating series, designed by the Swiss husband-and-wife design duo Robert and Trix Haussmann for Knoll International in 1988. This pair of chairs dates to 1990, and we have two sets of pairs available for purchase (for chairs total). The listed price includes one pair of chairs.

This design was originally known as the New Weissenhof Chair , inspired by the Weissenhof Chair of Mies Van der Rohe (1928). Their basic cube shape recalls the classic club chair, but the combination of soft and hard edges offers a more welcoming silhouette. The chairs have a tailored look, but are exceedingly comfortable.

Each chair measures 33 inches deep, 32 inches wide, and stands 28 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.5 inches. The fabric upholstery is in good condition with a few small spots, and the backs of the chairs show some sun fading. The padding and foam are in great shape. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition. Please see photos.
