This is a Steel Frame No. 4100 Series Desk, initially designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1954. This example dates to the 1950s. It features a frame of white powder-coated bent iron, olive green Masonite side panels, and orange steel drawers. It retains its original polished chrome handles. This furniture series included a chest of drawers, a side table, and a desk in two sizes. The front panels could be chosen in four different colors (black, blue, yellow, orange). The piece is lightweight for easy mobility.

This desk measures 17 inches deep, 42 inches wide, and 30 inches high. It has a knee clearance of 28 inches. There are some blemishes on the front of the drawers, and there is age apparent on the frame. There is no label present, but there is a void on the finish inside of the drawer where it was once affixed. Overall, this desk is in very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
