This is a Platner Dining Armchair, model 1725, initially designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. This is an early example, dating to the late 1960s. The frame of this chair is composed of patinated bronzed-steel, and the seat and backrest are upholstered in a purple hopsack fabric which appears to be original to the chair.

This chair measures 22 inches deep, 26.5 inches wide, and 28.75 inches high. The seat height is 19 inches. We have intentionally left this piece in its original, untouched condition. There are several spots on the fabric and a few threads are loose on the arm frames. There are also a few areas on the frame where the paint has worn away. Overall, this chair is in good vintage condition with some signs of age apparent. Please see photos.
