This is a pair of LC3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, Grand Modele Lounge Chairs, initially designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in 1928. These examples date to the 1970s and were produced in Italy by Cassina. The listed price includes the pair of chairs as shown. They feature upholstery in aniline black leather, and have four loose cushions that are composed of thick composite foam. The frames are nickel-plated steel, having nylon webbing on the seat to hold the cushions in place.

Each chair measures 28.74 inches deep, 38.98 inches wide, and 24.41 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.75 inches. The pieces retain their tags from Atelier International, the overseas distributor for Cassina at the time, and they have engraving on the undersides of the arms. The leather on these chairs has some scrapes and scuffs and visible wear from decades of use. New upholstery is recommended. The foam cushions have hardened and will need replacement. Visually, they are beautiful and rare vintage examples. Please see photos.
